This photo is very significant. It was taken during the final football match between Darsilami A town team and Busura town team at Marakissa in 1994. It was a very nice game. In the first half Busura made the first goal and then Andrew scored for Darsilami to equalize the match. Near the end of the first half Andrew scored again making it a 2-1 with Darsilami leading.
In the second half Jiky scored a goal, making it a 3-1 lead by Darsilami. Later Alieu Badara scored increasing Darsilami lead to 4-1. Later Bakary Gibba scored the last goal for Darsilami which was a very nice goal. In the end Darsilami won with 5 goals to 1
Again this was a very good game and there was a lot of support from Darsilami. We took the cup and were welcomed by the elders of Darsilami. Overall it was a very memorable tournament.
